South African fintech enablement partner Ukheshe International has acquired Africa-focused payment and e-commerce solutions provider EFT Corporation. Ukheshe bought EFT from parent company Loita Transaction Services. The two businesses will continue to operate separately and retain their individual brand identities. The acquisition will allow EFTCorp’s customers access to Ukheshe’s range of digital services while continuing to work with a trusted brand. EFTCorp has supported more than 100 banks and processors in 35 African markets for 23 years, and offers core switching and issuer processor technology. Ukheshe has acquired a number of companies in recent years and aims to become a banking solutions partner on the African continent.
